Contract Type: Fixed term (14 months), Full time 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9-5pm.

We’re looking for a Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy Team at the Sarah Cannon Research Institute, currently rated “Good” by the CQC. SCRI is a world‑leading clinical trials facility specialising in the development of new therapies and precision medication for cancer patients. Participation in a clinical trial is the first step in fighting cancer, not the last.
As an early‑stage UK trials unit, we have the ability to offer new anti‑cancer drugs in clinical trials. Working with a small team of pharmacists and technicians, you will support the delivery of a high‑quality pharmacy service for outpatients participating in cancer‑related clinical trials.
Responsibilities
* Provide pharmacy clinical trials service, including preparation, dispensing, and monitoring of investigational medicinal products.
* Assist in the set‑up and coordination of pharmacy services at SCRIUK.
* Collaborate with clinical investigators, nurses and other trial staff to ensure compliance with trial protocols and regulatory requirements.
* Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for trial activities.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of pharmacy processes and procedures.
Qualifications
* Registration with GPhC.
* NVQ3 Accuracy Checking Technician qualification.
* Post‑qualification experience in a hospital setting.
