An exciting opportunity has arisen in Excel Pensions Ltd. We are looking to employ a new full/part time scheme administrator to join their team. We are a small company established in 2014 and assist SME clients with their pension planning requirements, mainly dealing with company directors. We currently have a very experienced team who have worked in the company for many years and have created very good relationships with our clients. Job Description
You will be working as part of a small team reporting to the company directors. Your role will be to undertake varied pensions and investment administration work for a significant portfolio of SSAS pension schemes from inception to closure.
The role will carry the responsibility for creating, building and maintaining relationships with our existing clients, accountants, advisers and third-party panel of trusted partners. You will have the responsibility as acting as the dedicated point of contact for a selected number of clients and introducers.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
· Production of standard application forms
· Processing of new SSAS application forms, including submission to HMRC
· Registering schemes as appropriate with The Pensions Regulator and the Information Commissioners Office
· Completing a range of tasks to include;
Cash and/or in-specie contributions
Pension transfers
Fund allocation calculations
Investment processing to include;
Standard and approved non-standard investments
SSAS Loanbacks
Third Party Loans
Commercial property purchase
Pension Sharing Orders
Transfers out
Benefit calculation, review and payment as appropriate
Scheme wind ups
· Additional tasks to include;
Review and input of monthly bank statements
Liaison with management team on process and procedural change
Preparation and issue of annual account statements
Preparation and submission of annual reports to HMRC
Filing TPR returns
Maintenance of in-house client database
Provision of telephone and email support to clients and introducers alike
· Carry out all work within service standard timeframes with adherence to company and regulatory policies

ESSENTIAL, DESIRABLE
Qualifications
Maths & English GCSE or equivalent
Knowledge
Willingness to understand SSAS and associated administrative processes and procedures, pensions legislation and regulatory requirements
Experience
Pensions administration experience desirable but not essential.
Previous office experience preferable
