Special Needs Practitioners\n\nStart date: 1st September 2025 \nLocation: Leeds (Central) \nSchool: Specialist SEND school \nSalary: £19,500 - £21,500 (actual take home)\nHoliday: 13 weeks of annual leave per annum \nRole: SEN Teaching Assistant / Practitioner \nHours: 8:30am - 3:30pm daily (Monday - Friday) We are currently working with a large Special Needs school in Central Leeds who are looking for a multiple SEN Teaching Assistants who are available for full-time / permanent positions starting in the new academic year from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children who live with Special Educational Needs in a fulfilling role and support children in small classes on a daily basis who live with: Autism, ADHD, Global Delay, Speech, Language and Communication needs. \n\nThe role of a Special Needs Teaching Assistant will be to: \n\nSupport pupils in the classroom on a daily basis \nSupport children with their activities and daily tasks \nSupport the students with personal care (If required) \nEnsure the safety of children is held to the highest standard \nSafeguard all pupils \nSupport children on a 1:1 basis both inside and outside of the classroom In order to be to shortlisted for this role candidates must: \n\nBe available full-time from September 2025\nHave experience / knowledge of SEN and a passion to work with children with Special Educational Needs\nHave a valid DBS certificate that is on the update service If you are Interested in this opportunity, please apply directly to the advert and one of our friendly team members will be in touch.
