Our Team: Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.
Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.
The new team has three locations: the Motorsport Competence Center of Audi in Neuburg (Germany), one of the most modern of its kind in Europe; the Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland), known for innovative technologies; and the Sauber Motorsport Technical Center in the UK, which will be operational this year. Our Power Unit is from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for chassis development and race operations.

Position: The position for the Audi F1 Project is based at Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg, Germany.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Development of combustion process and gas-exchange via 3D-CFD simulations.
2. Conduct thermodynamic development of the internal combustion engine, focusing on gas-exchange, combustion phases, and flow simulation of intake & exhaust systems.
3. Plan, perform, and evaluate 3D CFD simulations with proper documentation.
4. Create correlations with measurement data from engine tests and testbenches.
5. Develop processes and improve workflows and toolchains for simulation and test data correlation.
Your Profile:
1. Technical degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, fluid mechanics, or related fields (bachelor's, master's, Diplom, or Dr.-Ing.).
2. Several years of professional experience in internal combustion engine development, especially in 3D CFD simulation.
3. Broad engine technology knowledge with expertise in virtual development toolchains.
4. Experience handling data from testbenches.
5. Excellent teamwork, organizational skills, and a strong sense of responsibility.
6. Independent and precise working approach.
7. Proficiency in German or English, with willingness to learn the other language at a basic level.
