Are you passionate about supporting young people in their learning journey? A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Blackburn is seeking a Level 2 Learning Support Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis from September 2025.
The Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
* Work closely with class teachers to support students with a range of additional learning needs
* Provide one-to-one and small group support, helping pupils to access the curriculum and achieve their potential
* Assist in the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources
* Help create a positive and engaging learning environment for all students
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
* Previous experience working with children or young people, preferably in a secondary school setting
* A patient, caring, and proactive approach
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
