My client is looking for an experienced and qualified Electrician to undertake safe electrical works (repairs, installations, servicing, and inspection & testing) competently and effectively across their housing stock. You'll be ensuring that properties are maintained to a high standard in a timely manner, whilst achieving and maintaining exceptional levels of customer satisfaction. Key Duties and Responsibilities Undertake safe electrical works on time, within given priorities, to the highest standard possible - aiming for first-time fixes while remaining compliant. Identify and repair faults, rewire domestic electrical systems, and deliver high-quality work. Liaise with customers and colleagues to ensure all relevant individuals are kept informed of progress and actions. Escalate complex issues where necessary. Ensure all works comply with health and safety legislation, policies, and BS7671 regulations, including correct use of equipment and PPE. Work from drawings and specifications, requisition necessary materials, and ensure compliance and testing. Provide electrical expertise to planned works teams, including bathroom, kitchen, and full property rewires. Cover out-of-hours emergency call-out in line with departmental rota. Maintain company vehicle in good condition, carry out regular safety checks, and report any defects promptly. Support and assist with the development of apprentices and trainees. Undertake any other duties commensurate with the role. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required Achievement Measurement 2 and qualified Electrician. City & Guilds 2391, City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2, 2351, or 2330 Levels 2 & 3, or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation Work (or equivalent). Previous apprenticeship or equivalent practical training in electrical installation work. Practical knowledge and competence working as an electrician under BS7671, including inspection, testing, and commissioning. City & Guilds 2394 or 2395 in initial verification, certification, and periodic inspection & testing (desirable). Full driving licence and ability to travel efficiently to customer properties (some not accessible by public transport). Good IT and customer care skills. Demonstrates strong values and behaviours.
