Fully qualified teacher (ks2)

Bristol (City of Bristol)
Protocol Education
Teacher
Posted: 23 February
Offer description

Protocol Education is on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated class teacher to join a welcoming school in BS15 on a full-time basis after the Easter holidays, teaching across Upper KS2 with Year 5 and Year 6 pupils.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who thrives in those pivotal final primary years, when children are finding their voice, building independence and gearing up for the move to secondary school. You’ll play a key role in helping pupils grow academically while nurturing their confidence, resilience and self-belief along the way.

At Protocol Education, we take the time to match teachers with schools where values, expectations and support genuinely align. That way, you can focus on what matters most, delivering great teaching and making a lasting difference in the classroom.

The Role:

You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons across the upper KS2 curriculum, creating a calm, purposeful classroom where pupils feel challenged, supported and ready to succeed.

You’ll assess progress, use data to inform next steps and adapt learning to meet a range of needs, including pupils requiring additional support or greater challenge. Clear routines, strong behaviour management and high expectations will be central to the role.

You’ll work closely with colleagues to support pupils academically and emotionally, particularly as they prepare for SATs and the transition to secondary school.

You’ll be joining a school with a welcoming, inclusive culture where teamwork, wellbeing and professional development genuinely matter.

If you’re passionate about guiding pupils through this crucial stage of their primary journey, this could be a brilliant next step.
