The Role
:
As a Land Surveyor / Senior Land Surveyor, you will be overseeing complex projects across diverse sectors, including aviation, highways, and construction.
Responsibilities:
1. Managing day-to-day operations to mentoring junior staff.
2. Addressing on-site challenges including equipment, access, and safety.
3. Collaborating with fellow surveyors, contractors, suppliers, and clients.
4. Conducting quality control checks and managing CAD data.
5. Guiding and training junior surveyors as needed.
6. Offering technical assistance to Project Managers and internal team members.
Requirements:
Essential:
7. Previously worked as a Land Surveyor or in a similar role.
8. Minimum 5 years of land surveying experience.
9. Relevant surveying qualification.
10. Background in diverse environments and large complex surveying projects.
11. Skilled in surveying equipment including total stations & GPS systems and AutoCAD.
12. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
13. Experience in staff mentoring / training.
14. Valid UK driving licence.
15. Right to work in the UK.
Desirable:
16. Report writing and data processing experience.
17. Familiarity with Bentley MicroStation, Atlas SCC software, LSS.
18. Knowledge of Laser Scanners.
19. Understanding of surveying industry standards.
