Estates Manager – Pubs & Retail Property (Field Based, UK)
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver robust rent assessments for new lets, rent reviews, renewals and investment cases
• Lead and support rent negotiations, ensuring compliance with RICS guidance, the Pubs Code and internal policies
• Provide hands-on estate management support to regional operations teams and occupiers
• Proactively manage leasehold, non-licensed and surplus property to maximise income and mitigate cost
• Identify and deliver value from surplus land and asset opportunities
• Manage and instruct external professional advisers to secure commercial outcomes
• Protect asset value through tenure management, title review and lease compliance
• Ensure statutory, legal and code compliance across the estate
Key Experience
• MRICS
• Experience in rent reviews and valuations
• Pub, retail or multi-site commercial property experience
• Comfortable working in a field-based role
• Well organised and solutions-focused
• Strong track record of driving income through proactive rent negotiation and rent reviews
