Position Overview:
As the Front Desk Associate, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day administrative operations. This position involves a variety of clerical and customer service duties, including greeting the public, responding to inquiries, processing payments, and assisting with municipal office tasks.

Key responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Providing a warm and friendly first impression to visitors and clients.
Responding to phone calls, emails, and in-person questions, providing accurate information about the RM business and its services.
Manage incoming telephone calls, directing them appropriately, and ensuring accurate message relay.
Performing a variety of administrative duties, such as managing mail, scheduling appointments, maintaining a tidy workspace, and organizing both manual and electronic filing systems to ensure efficient information management.
Perform accurate data entry and maintain detailed records.
Track and update various inventory levels regularly.
Processing payments for taxes and services, managing cash transactions, and reconciling accounts.
Assist in the preparation and submission of grant applications.
Execute additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in office administration or a related field is an asset
Previous experience in a front desk or administrative support role preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Ability to demonstrate appropriate level of professional conduct and judgement.
Valid Class 5 License
