Job Description
We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients, to join our team at Edgbaston Office as a CAREGiver. As a CAREGiver you will provide a variety of non‑medical services to help them remain independent in their own home.
The requirements of the role vary from client to client, but you may be required to help with aspects of personal care such as toileting, assisting with personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication prompts, homecare duties (washing, laundry, general cleaning), and companionship – accompanying the client to shops, pharmacies and attending social groups and activities. We also specialise in Alzheimer’s and dementia care but full training is provided. No experience is required as full training is offered.
Our clients usually have breakfast, lunch, tea, bed and overnight calls depending on the level of care required.
Qualifications
You will not need any experience of working in the care setting or interacting with older people, but it would be desirable if you do – such as personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience. You will need to have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. You must be reliable, trustworthy, respectful, enjoy building professional friendships and be comfortable spending time in the company of others.
Additional Information
As a CAREGiver, you will receive industry‑leading training, great rates of pay, excellent support, holiday pay, mileage, a refer‑a‑friend bonus, opportunities for progression and extra qualifications, as we offer NVQ Level 1, 2 and 3 in Health & Social Care.
