Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Officer to provide a secure and safe environment for all staff & visitors on site. This will be achieved by applying thorough access control procedures, carrying out site inductions, planned and ad‑hoc patrols, and other duties as determined by the Assignment Instructions. In the event of an emergency, follow prescribed escalation/communication procedures with Site Management, Corps colleagues and the emergency services.
Working hours: 60 hrs per week, Mon‑Fri 07:00–19:00.

What you will need:
* Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
* A valid SIA Front‑Line License – essential.
* A valid SIA CCTV License – preferred.
* First Aid qualification – preferred.
* Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good and effective relationships at all levels.
* Ability to work to deadlines, multi‑task, and work under pressure.
* Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel).
* Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards.
What are you going to do:
* Maintain overall surveillance of the site, carrying out regular patrols and recording these as required.
* Ensure all visitors and contractors are correctly briefed, sign in and out.
* Record the entry and exit of delivery whilst on site, including processing of paperwork in line with quality procedures.
* Ensure patrols meet the correct standards.
* Set and unset primary and secondary alarm security systems for out‑of‑hours provision if applicable.
* Comply with waste management procedures.
* Complete required documents, including daily occurrence log, shift handover, incident/accident reports, and site‑specific reports.
* Familiarise yourself with Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments, and other safety documents; advise the Duty Manager or client personnel on improvements.
* Maintain training records via Corps Colleague Portal; keep first aid and fire marshal training current.
* Continuously apply SIA skills, maintaining professionalism; display licence at all times.
* Perform ad‑hoc duties as directed.
