Overview
Cyber Security Trainee Placement Programme. This training course includes fully accredited training with tutor support and mentoring to provide the skills, practical knowledge and qualifications needed to secure a professional job in IT. A job guarantee (18K-£35K) is provided upon completion, subject to the terms of learning. The programme can be completed at a pace that suits the learner and can run over a few weeks or a few months, with a step-by-step process to reach placement.
Program structure
1. Step 1 - Accredited Online Training: Complete a selection of professional, accredited and industry recognised CompTIA courses. Training is delivered via video tutorials, practice labs, presentations and quizzes. You will have an expert tutor and a support mentor.
2. Step 2 - Practical Training: Use practice labs to gain practical hands-on experience and build confidence for your first IT role.
3. Step 3 - Official exams: Sit the CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ exams to gain official certifications recognised in the UK and worldwide. Network+ provides foundational networking knowledge.
4. Step 4 - IT Technician placement (£24K-£35K): Secure your first role as an IT Technician with a starting salary between £24K and £35K. After gaining two years’ experience, you can progress into cybersecurity. The second batch of training will qualify you to move into cybersecurity and may include additional courses such as Certified Ethical Hacker or Certified Network Defender depending on requirements. Upon completion, you may move into higher paying Cybersecurity roles with recruitment support by our team.
Progression to Cybersecurity
After completing step four and gaining two or more years of IT experience, you will be prepared to move into higher paying Cybersecurity roles. Our recruitment support team specialises in IT and Cybersecurity roles, with an average starting salary of £35K at this level.
