Job Description:
We are seeking an Application Support Specialist to join our Redzone team in the United Kingdom. Looking for a technologist who loves a fast-paced environment, customer communication, and problem-solving. Previous experience in factory automation, especially in Food, Beverage, and Packaging sectors, with knowledge of Sensors, Manufacturing Equipment, and PLCs.
This is a fully remote role in the UK. No visa sponsorship available.
Role Overview:
* Provide patience, empathy, and customer-centric support.
* Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
* Interact with users via Google Meet, email, or chat.
* Record issues and resolutions using Intercom.
* Own customer issues and resolve them.
* Manage multiple customers and issues.
* Apply troubleshooting techniques before escalation.
* Monitor customer environments proactively.
* Analyze logs for trends and issues.
* Collaborate with Engineering to stay current on technologies.
* Achieve SLA and CSAT goals.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree required.
* 5+ years in Application, Technical, or BI Support.
* Expert in iOS.
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes is a plus.
* Clear communication skills.
Desired Skills:
* Database, SQL, AWS, Kubernetes, Help Desk systems, communication tools.
* Knowledge of Sensors, Manufacturing Equipment, and PLCs.
* ITIL framework knowledge.
* Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
* Self-motivated, high productivity.
* Proficient in English.
