We are seeking a skilled Buyer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on exciting and complex projects within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
* Procuring of materials, equipment, and services necessary for groundworks projects.
* You will collaborate closely with project managers, site engineers, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards.
* Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors for construction materials, equipment, and services, ensuring reliability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
* Negotiate contracts, purchase agreements, and pricing terms with suppliers.
* Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop procurement plans. Research and source new products, materials, and technologies.
Qualifications
* Bachelors degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Buyer or Procurement Specialist in the construction industry, with a focus on groundworks projects.
* Proficient in conducting cost analysis, managing budgets, and making informed purchasing decisions.
* Familiarity with procurement software and tools, as well as MS Office applications.
