Sales Manager
Sheffield Based (2-3 days in the office)
We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our Corporate sales team. The Sales Manager, through dynamic day-to-day leadership and development, manages and motivates a team of global Account Executives to drive effective and profitable solutions into client and prospective client portfolios, fostering a win mentality and driving high performance throughout the sales division.
Key Responsibilities
h3. Team Leadership
- Drive a high-performance team culture of Account Executives by setting clear expectations, providing support, empowering decision-making, promoting collaboration, offering feedback, encouraging innovation, leading by example, developing skills, building trust, and celebrating team successes.
- Set, review, and track performance against objectives that promote teammate growth and development, using coaching techniques to ensure teammates demonstrate the required values and behaviors.
- Lead motivational and engaging management meetings regularly to keep the team motivated, focused, and energized on initiatives that will drive sales growth and align with the divisional sales strategy.
h3. Stakeholder Management
- Manage and maintain relationships with teammates, key clients, and vendors to ensure the highest level of service delivery and to enhance opportunities.
- Serve as the primary escalation point, ensuring prompt resolution of client issues with the highest level of service.
h3. Sales Excellence
- Drive forecast accuracy through regular pipeline management with the team, ensuring compliance with the Insight sales methodology.
- Build and submit the Latest Estimate Report by collating information and reports to forecast sales.
- Ensure the generation of quarterly, half-yearly, and annual account business plans to meet revenue and GP targets for the sales team.
h3. Commercial Excellence
- Proficient in finance metrics like CapEx, OpEx, EBITDA, and SG&A to inform commercial decisions and craft persuasive business cases.
h3. Sales Methodology and CRM
- Use internal CRM systems to produce timely and accurate forecast and pipeline data.
- Ensure all sales opportunities follow our sales methodology, providing training and coaching as needed.
- Engage proactively with the deal governance process, incorporating feedback to refine opportunities.

- A confident, proactive communicator with extensive client-facing sales experience.
- Experienced in managing and motivating high-performing teams in fast-paced, target-driven environments.
- Knowledgeable in Sales Methodology, from defining client needs to delivering outcomes.
- Demonstrates success in IT sales, achieving high sales in high-pressure environments.
- Skilled at engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels, including C-level executives.
- Able to interpret and analyze business and technical reports, and present information effectively.
