Job Title: Working Foreman (Carpentry Background)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Working Foreman with a strong carpentry background to oversee the construction of two new build residential properties. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for supervising site activities while also contributing to carpentry work when required.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-day supervision of site operations on a small residential development
Carrying out carpentry work alongside the team when required
Coordinating subcontractors and trades on site
Ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard
Managing site health & safety and maintaining a clean, organised site
Liaising with the project manager and reporting on progress
Ordering materials and managing deliveries where necessaryRequirements
Proven experience as a Working Foreman or Senior Carpenter on residential projects
Strong carpentry background with the ability to work hands-on
Experience managing small housing developments or new build homes
Good understanding of site health & safety
Ability to manage trades and maintain project timelines
SSSTS or SMSTS preferred
CSCS card required
Full UK driving licence preferred
