We're looking for a Project Director to join our Construction team based on a project in Hertfordshire.

What will you be responsible for?
As a Project Director, you will oversee the delivery of projects valued from 60m to over 100m+. These projects span the Defence, Education, Healthcare, and Commercial sectors for Kier. Your responsibilities include monitoring build progress, overseeing finances, and ensuring quality delivery. You will lead and direct Project Managers to implement project actions. The role will focus on leading a large Education project in Hertfordshire.
Your day-to-day will include:
1. Managing the pre-construction phase to ensure readiness for the construction phase.
2. Managing operational communications and relationships with clients, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and government agencies.
3. Implementing the project plan and ensuring compliance with contractual terms.
4. Managing multidisciplinary teams to meet client expectations.
5. Providing timely and accurate progress reports to the client.

This role requires a highly experienced professional in major projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
1. Strong technical and operational credentials within tier 1 construction sectors.
2. Ability to manage budgets, programmes, and resources.
3. Experience managing senior teams.
4. Successful delivery of similar schemes.
