We are currently seeking a dedicated, results-driven Student Recruitment & Admissions Counselor to join our growing team.

Role Overview

The Student Recruitment & Admissions Counselor will play a vital role in converting prospective student leads into successful applicants. This includes actively managing communication with leads, accurately collecting and verifying documentation, ensuring timely application submissions, and guiding students through the full admissions process, including support with Student Finance applications.

Key Responsibilities : Lead Follow-Up & Conversion

* Proactively follow up with prospective student leads via phone, email, and messaging platforms.
* Actively engage and build rapport with leads to understand their academic goals and guide them toward suitable study options.
* Convert leads into completed applications by providing accurate, compelling information and consistent support.

Application Management

* Collect and verify all required documents from students, ensuring completeness, authenticity, and compliance with admission criteria.
* Ensure timely and accurate submission of applications to partner universities and colleges.
* Monitor application status and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth processing and quick turnaround.

Student Finance Guidance

* Guide eligible students through the UK Student Finance application process, ensuring they understand requirements, deadlines, and documentation needed.
* Provide timely reminders and step-by-step assistance to ensure successful submission of funding applications.

Student Counseling & Support

* Offer personalized advice on UK higher education options, entry requirements, and career outcomes.
* Provide ongoing support and motivation to students throughout the admissions and enrollment journey.
* Conduct interviews or assessments (if required) to determine student suitability and readiness.

Collaboration & Reporting

* Work closely with Admissions, Marketing, and Operations teams to streamline the student journey.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM and reporting tools.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic recruitment initiatives.

QualificationsLanguage Proficiency

* Strong command of English (spoken and written). Additional language skills are a plus but not required.

Education & Experience

* Understanding of the UK Higher Education system is essential.
* Previous experience in student recruitment, admissions counseling, or a customer-facing advisory role is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a persuasive, student-focused approach.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to collect, verify, and manage documents accurately.
* Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple student cases simultaneously.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), CRM platforms, and digital communication tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £22,174.14-£25,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

* London IG11 8RT: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:

* Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:

* working with students: 1 year (preferred)
