We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable General Science Teacher to join a dedicated secondary school team. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, promoting curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for science. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a General Science Teacher:
* Teach General Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
* Plan and deliver engaging, practical, and well-structured lessons
* Use assessment data to inform planning and track pupil progress
* Promote scientific enquiry through hands-on experiments and real-world applications
* Contribute to the development of the science curriculum and extra-curricular activities
* Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
Ideal General Science Teacher:
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
* A degree in a science-related subject
* Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
* Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills as a General Science Teacher
* A passion for science and a commitment to student success
