Janitor
Location: Birmingham
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 5:30pm - 7pm
Pay Rate: £12.65
The Janitor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across the facility, including laboratories, washrooms, offices, hallways, and cafeteria areas. The role includes daily cleaning, waste disposal, recycling services, and responding to facility-related service requests in a timely manner. The position also supports general maintenance projects and ensures the building interior and exterior are well maintained.
Key Duties
* Clean offices, washrooms, labs, and common areas
* Empty bins and handle recycling
* Refill soap, paper towels, and other supplies
* Mop, vacuum, dust, and clean windows
* Support small moving tasks and light maintenance
* Keep entrances and walkways clean
Requirements
* Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred
* Able to work independently
* Basic English communication skills
* Reliable and punctual
Physical Requirements
* Repetitive cleaning tasks
* Some lifting and moving of items
* Indoor work with occasional dust or fumes
