Outpatients Receptionist
Oaklands Hospital - Salford
Full Time – hours per week
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Receptionist to join our busy Outpatient team at Oaklands Hospital, Salford.

The hospital has an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare for patients with health insurance, patients who are self-funding treatment or NHS patients exercising choice through the e-referral system.
The role
You will be the first point of contact in Outpatients for patients, staff and visitors. This role is essential to ensuring a positive patient experience throughout their visit.
1. Undertake outpatient charges
2. Update and maintain accurate patient information using our Electronic Patient Record System
3. Welcome consultants, patients and their relatives/visitors into Outpatients, ensuring that security measures are adhered to
4. Provide administrator tasks to support the clinical team
5. Answer Outpatient Reception telephone enquiries promptly, efficiently and politely, resolving local issues and referring on to other relevant departments as appropriate
6. Ensure that the reception desk and waiting areas are maintained in a presentable manner
7. Observe and maintain confidentiality of patient records and staff information
