Were looking for a Chef de Partie to take the lead on breakfast service and support with deli and catering orders at Ottolenghi Spitalfields. This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced, organised chef who loves mornings, flavour, and a kitchen that never stops creating.
What youll be doing
Youll be responsible for delivering our signature breakfast dishes with precision and care, while supporting the wider team in preparing deli items and catering orders. Your day will include:
Preparing and cooking breakfast dishes to Ottolenghi standards
Managing mise en place and service for the breakfast section
Supporting the deli team with fresh salads, pastries, and counter dishes
Assisting with the preparation and packing of catering orders
Keeping your section clean, organised, and running smoothly
Working closely with the Head Chef and the kitchen team to maintain consistency and high quality
What were looking for
Youll bring experience, reliability, and a calm, positive attitude, especially in those early hours. Ideally, youll have:
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef in a busy kitchen
A genuine love of mornings, organisation, and getting ahead of the day
Strong time management and multitasking skills
An eye for detail and presentation
Commitment to teamwork, learning, and maintaining high hygiene standards
