The College’s History department is vibrant, popular, and successful, with strong GCSE and A Level outcomes. Many students pursue History or related disciplines at university. The department is part of a large and supportive Humanities Faculty, and the successful candidate will join a team of experienced History teachers. Educational visits, including trips to the Battlefields of Northern France, are a key part of our enrichment program.
We seek a dynamic, enthusiastic, and inspiring teacher to uphold the College’s strong provision in Politics and History. The ability to teach A Level Politics is essential. The candidate should be able to challenge and engage students of all abilities and support each student to reach their full potential. A genuine passion for the subject and willingness to contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities, are important.
