Job Summary
Totus Neurorehabilitation is a growing community neurorehabilitation service providing brain injury rehabilitation and cognitive assessments throughout the South of England. Due to increasing referrals we are developing an MDT team in the Midlands area and we are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Occupational Therapist to join the team covering Leicester, Birmingham and surrounding areas.
We are funded on a case‑by‑case basis through individual funding packages (e.g. exceptional healthcare funding, CHC funding). The post holder is contracted to individual clients, and the working hours will be based on the clients’ requirements. This position is ideal for a practitioner working part‑time in the NHS looking for one or two additional cases a week.
As the post covers a large geographical area you will need a full UK driving licence, access to a car for business purposes, and the ability to travel long distances. Travel time is paid at half the clinical rate. Part of the role will be remote; you will need a confidential space for online sessions and meetings.
This is an Associate position: the applicant is self‑employed and contracted to the client. The successful candidate will register as a sole trader with HMRC, submit their own tax return yearly, hold indemnity insurance, a DBS certificate, and registration with the ICO.
Salary: £65 per hour. Contract: Permanent, part‑time, flexible working.
Locations: Working from home and community visits in Leicester, Birmingham and surrounding areas (LE1 1AJ).
