Finance Assistant
What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting sales ledger: raising invoices, processing payments, opening new accounts
* Assisting with purchase ledger: supplier payment runs, card payment allocations, statement reconciliations
* Helping with credit control: chasing outstanding debt, cash reconciliations
* Monthly payroll support: posting entries, overtime/sickness reporting
* Performing cash and bank reconciliations
* Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations and month‑end processes
* Posting journals, accruals and prepayments
* Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and practices
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in a finance role, ideally within a multi‑divisional group
* Working towards AAT or similar qualification
* Ledger or management accounting experience
* Excellent Excel skills (look‑ups, pivot tables, formulas) and ability to handle large data sets
* Adaptable, detail‑oriented and able to work under pressure
* Great communication skills and a positive, can‑do attitude
Salary & Benefits
* Salary between £25,000–£30,000
