About the Role
Vertu Honda Doncaster is looking for a Sales Advisor to join our successful team, representing one of the most trusted and innovative automotive brands in the world.
This role offers a competitive basic salary of £28,000, with on‑target earnings of £34,000, and the opportunity to earn well above this level. No previous automotive sales experience is required – we’ll give you everything you need to succeed.
You’ll benefit from full training and a comprehensive onboarding programme designed to build your confidence, product knowledge and earning potential from day one. After six months, you’ll have the opportunity (should you wish) to progress into a Sales Executive position, increasing your on‑target earnings to £45,000+, along with a Company Car.
At Vertu Honda Doncaster, we believe great performance should go hand‑in‑hand with genuine work‑life balance. You’ll work a 40‑hour week, across five 8‑hour shifts. You’ll work most Saturdays (our busiest sales day) but will always have a guaranteed weekday off, and we’re closed every Sunday, giving you a consistent day to relax and recharge.
Responsibilities
As a Sales Advisor, you’ll support customers throughout their entire car‑buying journey. From arranging test drives and explaining Honda’s award‑winning technology, hybrid and petrol ranges, to helping customers choose the right finance and accessories, you’ll play a key role in delivering a first‑class experience.
Honda is renowned for its reliability, innovation and customer loyalty, and you’ll be proud to represent a brand that puts quality, engineering and customer satisfaction at its core. You’ll engage with customers in‑store, online, over the phone and via video, both locally and nationally, so strong communication skills and confidence using technology are essential.
Qualifications
All we need from you is a full driving licence (manual and automatic) and an ability to demonstrate that you can provide great customer service. If you have worked within retail, hospitality, or any customer service or sales led field we want to hear from you!
