About the Opportunity
Join a prestigious multi-accredited law firm with over 200 years of heritage serving the Yorkshire region. We’re seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join our established team offering exceptional career development opportunities within one of Sheffield’s leading legal practices.
The Role
You will manage a diverse caseload of private client matters within our highly regarded department working with an established and reputable client base whilst benefiting from expert mentorship and defined career pathways.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing comprehensive Wills and Probate matters from instruction to completion
* Handling complex Estate Administration cases with meticulous attention to detail
* Drafting and advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney documentation
* Administering Trust matters and providing strategic tax planning advice
* Completing Trust Administration and Tax Returns with technical precision
* Conducting client meetings and providing clear accessible legal guidance
* Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with clients and referrers
* Collaborating with colleagues to deliver exceptional client outcomes
* Contributing to business development and networking activities
* Mentoring junior team members and supporting department growth
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 4 years PQE in Private Client work
* Excellent and comprehensive knowledge of all Wills and Probate matters
* Strong experience and knowledge of Trust Administration
* Expert drafting skills with exceptional attention to detail
* Outstanding communication and client care abilities
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
* Strong organisational and presentation skills
* Ability to work methodically and accurately under pressure
