ABOUT YOU
This role is ideal for an experienced bioanalytical LC-MS/MS scientist who enjoys working independently, applying technical expertise to complex quantitative analysis, and collaborating closely with colleagues and clients.
You will bring strong technical capability, confidence in method development and validation, and the ability to communicate clearly on both scientific and commercial matters.
Required skills and experience:
1. BSc, MSc or PhD in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline
2. In-depth knowledge of LC-MS/MS, with 5+ years' experience supporting pre-clinical and clinical bioanalysis
3. Proven experience in quantitative LC-MS/MS method development and validation
4. Practical understanding of the requirements of Pharmacokinetic (PK) analysis and ICH M10 Bioanalytical Method validation guidance
5. Experience working in a GxP-regulated laboratory with a strong understanding of GMP, GLP and GCP
6. Practical experience extracting small and/or large molecules from biological matrices (e.g. plasma, serum, urine)
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously and apply scientific literature where required
8. Good IT, numeracy and data interpretation skills
9. Clear written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging directly with clients
