About the Role
You will take full responsibility for leading and developing the Mathematics department, with a particular focus on A-Level and Further Mathematics.
Responsibilities
* Leading the strategic direction of Mathematics across the college
* Delivering outstanding teaching at A-Level (including Further Maths)
* Driving exceptional student outcomes and university progression
* Managing and developing a high-performing team of teachers
* Overseeing curriculum planning, assessment, and intervention strategies
* Supporting students aiming for top universities, including Oxbridge
Qualifications
* A highly effective Mathematics teacher with a strong academic background
* Proven track record of delivering excellent A-Level results
* Experience teaching Further Mathematics is highly desirable
* Previous leadership experience or readiness to step into a Head of Department role
* Passion for academic excellence and supporting high-achieving students
