Description – Domestic
Oakminster Healthcare are looking for friendly and caring individuals to join our Domestic team who provide cleaning services for our care homes.
We believe our staff are one of our most valuable resources in enhancing the quality of life for our service users, who are at the centre of everything that we do. The Domestic Supervisor is part of the care team and as such will have some contact with residents. All staff must be friendly and approachable when working with or near residents.
About The Role
Duties:
* To deliver high standard of domestic provision in all aspects of work.
* To vacuum floors, dust and clean ornaments and surfaces and perform any other cleaning required by under the direct orders of the Nurse on duty.
* This work will include high dusting and washing down paintwork especially in the public areas, e.g. hall, sitting rooms, staircase, and lifts.
* To assist Housekeeper in keeping home clean and tidy at all times
* To spot clean carpets every day, where necessary.
* To empty wastebaskets.
* To clean up the laundry room.
* To remove the used linen to Laundry.
* To clean all rooms thoroughly once a fortnight basis.
* To clean all high and low areas as required.

We have various shifts available, for full and part time across 7 days; with a requirement of weekend work.
