Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager, the Assistant Manager will support the successful running of the whole Food & Beverage offering within the hotel.

Your Job
* Assist the F&B Manager in leading the F&B department and executing strategies to achieve goals.
* People leadership, including recruiting, retaining and developing employees.
* Set targets for the F&B team in line with the overall departmental and hotel strategy.
* Support/oversee events in the hotel to ensure excellence in service at all times
* Assist in the overall running of the hotel during duty manager shifts. This includes assuming full responsibility in the absence of General Manager.
* To have a full understanding of the hotels' fire procedures to ensure safety of all staff and guests at all times.
* Duties to include: Assisting reception with departures and arrivals.
* Ensuring the safety and security of staff and guests alike. Other duties as per the duty manager checklist.
* To take ownership of any complaints received while on duty
What You’ll Need
* Experience in a Food & Beverage management role in a leading hotel.
* Experience in conferences and events is a distinct advantage.
* Excellent Leadership skills.
* Experience in recruiting and developing employees.
* High standards and attention to detail.
* An excellent focus on our customers.
