Clinical Lead (Registered Nurse) An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Lead (Registered Nurse) to work closely with nursing and care teams to ensure the highest standards of clinical care and governance are maintained within nursing settings. Supported by an established management team, the Clinical Lead will play a key role in ensuring residents receive outstanding, person-centred care that meets their individual needs. The role involves leading clinical delivery, promoting best practice, and contributing to continuous improvement across services. Key Responsibilities Provide strong clinical leadership and support to nursing and care teams. Maintain high standards of clinical care, governance, and compliance. Make confident clinical decisions and remain calm under pressure. Promote best nursing practice and provide training, mentoring, and support to staff. Encourage positive and collaborative working relationships. Ensure effective communication across multidisciplinary teams. Lead and participate in audits, safeguarding processes, DoLS, CQC compliance, and regulatory requirements. Skills & Experience Strong clinical skillset with the confidence to lead a nursing team. Previous management experience or experience leading a small team. Ability to make sound clinical judgements in challenging situations. Passion for high-quality nursing care and developing others. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good working knowledge of audits, safeguarding, DoLS, CQC, and compliance standards. Education & Qualifications NMC registered nurse.
