Section 1 - Job details Job Title: Junior Sales Representative Responsible to: Sales Director Responsible for: Sales in the Wiltshire, Somerset, Bristol, Gloucestershire, Devon and Cornwall regions Products: Mobil Lubricants plus Aerosols, Janitorial and Chemicals Working hours: Mon to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm Salary: 28k Commission Scheme: After successful probation period (6 months) Additional Holiday Incentive based on new accounts Must have use of own personal car. Mileage allowance paid. Section 2 – Job Summary Summary of Position * To maximise sales of the company’s products and services in the above regions * To promote Chemical Corporation as a leading supplier of Mobil Lubricants * To Manage Prospects through our CRM system (Pipedrive) * To build customer relationships * To build product knowledge through courses and other training * To display a professional approach to business with a smart presentable appearance * To keep abreast of technical and industry information * Analysis of market area and competitor activity * To market the company’s products on LinkedIn * Able to operate independently with minimum supervision Section 3 – Key Tasks * Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory and market segment to generate new business * Make telephone calls, personal visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers * Research sources for developing prospective customers and information to determine their potential * Prepare client proposals and report documents for current and prospective customers * Coordinate sales effort with designated areas with Sales Management, Marketing, Accounts, Logistics and Technical departments * Analysis of territory to identify key geographic areas for further development * Plan and organise an effective personal sales strategy * Produce oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests and competitor activity * Keep abreast of product applications, technical services, marketing conditions and competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends * Interact with customers/Prospects via Zoom and Teams Calls * Develop LinkedIn profile and connections * Participate in trade shows and exhibitions. May be required to stay overnight one or two nights per annum. Section 4 – Requirements Qualification and Skills * Working Knowledge of Microsoft, Word Excel, PowerPoint; CRM important but can be trained. Capable of reading and writing clear British English * Driving Licence * Education- Minimum 2 GCSE Grades A-C * A-levels or College Courses an Advantage Section 5 – Training The following Training will be provided * Exxon Mobil courses including Benefit Selling and Product Training * Field sales training alongside our sales team * CRM- Pipeline Training * Marketing Support including LinkedIn, Powerpoint and any other training
