Overview
Lead, Inspire, Succeed – Become a Designate General Manager at Parkdean Resorts! This role is based at Lower Hyde Holiday Park, but must be flexible to be positioned at any parks across the South Coast region including Isle of Wight, Dorset & Devon. Salary: £56,774.
Get ready for an exciting journey into the heart of holiday park life. You'll dive into every aspect of running a holiday park, learn the ropes, and build the skills to become the next General Manager. At a strategic level, you'll team up with Regional Directors and General Managers to hit EBITDA targets while championing the mission to craft unforgettable guest experiences. As a Designate General Manager, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our holiday parks running smoothly across the nation, with flexibility to relocate to different parks as needed.
What you will be doing
* Champion our company values to create a positive, high-performing culture and engaged teams. Ensure full compliance with legal, health, safety, and GDPR regulations.
* Oversee all financial aspects of the park, including budgets, sales, profit margins, and expenses, to meet annual financial targets.
* Hold weekly Head of Department meetings, weekly 1:1 meetings, and monthly Health & Safety meetings to ensure teams work collaboratively within the business strategy and compliance standards.
* Collaborate with each Head of Department to craft and execute a tailored business plan for their area, including clear performance targets, control measures, and reporting systems.
* Partner closely with the central People Team to recruit, onboard, and welcome new talent, and to train and develop team members at all levels.
* Lead park winterisation plans, capital projects, and proactively identify weaknesses or security risks within company systems.
* Develop and deliver park winterisation plans and capital expenditure projects in collaboration with Heads of Department.
