Job Description:
Job Duties:
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons catered to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Assess individual student needs and develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Implement strategies to support students with diverse learning abilities
* Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to create a supportive learning environment
* Monitor and track student progress to ensure educational goals are met
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status
* Previous Teaching Experience
* SEN Experience
* Passion for Education
* Enhanced DBS Certificate
Knowledge and Skills:
* Proactive and adaptable approach to teaching
* Strong behavioural management skills
* Excellent communication and time management abilities
* Patience and empathy towards students with SEN
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
* Additional training in inclusive education practises
Working Conditions:
* Work primarily within a school setting
* Regular interaction with students, parents, and educational staff
* Potential for occasional off-site meetings or training sessions
* Full-time hours with occasional evening or weekend work for school events

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
