About The Role
HC-One is seeking a Maintenance Operative with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning, and housekeeping. Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is required, and IT skills are preferred. The ideal candidate will communicate considerately and kindly with residents and co-workers.
The Maintenance Operative will ensure residents live in a proactively inspected and well-maintained environment. Responsibilities include conducting audits, maintaining records, replacing taps or mixer valves, fitting extractor fans, repairing timber on windows, and decorating. Kindness is a core value in all tasks.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond. Attendance at safeguarding training and ongoing education are required.
