Spray Painter Location: Glasgow Salary: £22.91 Overtime Hours: 37 hours per week – Late Shift The Role of the Paint Sprayer We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV / PSV Spray Painter to join a busy and well-established workshop. This is a hands-on role working on buses, coaches, and heavy goods vehicles, ensuring high-quality finishes in line with industry standards. You will be working with premium paint systems such as Glasurit, delivering repairs, refinishing, and full resprays to a high standard. Key Responsibilities of the Paint Sprayer Prepare vehicles for paint including masking, sanding, and priming Carry out full resprays, panel repairs, and touch-ups Apply paint using spray guns and booth equipment Work with 2-pack paints and water-based systems (e.g. Glasurit) Mix and match colours accurately to manufacturer specifications Ensure a high-quality finish on all vehicles Carry out minor filler work and panel preparation Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with HSE standards Work efficiently to meet deadlines without compromising quality What We’re Looking For from the Paint Sprayer Proven experience as a Spray Painter (HGV, PSV, Automotive or Commercial) Experience working with Glasurit or similar paint systems Strong knowledge of paint preparation and finishing techniques Ability to work independently and as part of a team High attention to detail and pride in workmanship Ideally holds a relevant qualification (IMI / ATA / NVQ)If you’re an experienced HGV / PSV Spray Painter looking for your next opportunity, apply today with your CV or get in touch for more information
