The role & about the client:
On behalf of our client, ITS Building People are recruiting for an experienced Site Foreman/ Site Agent to join a high end residential construction company based in the Lymington. Our client, a well established and award winning contractor specialising in bespoke new builds, refurbishments and conservation projects. Seeking a Site Foreman/ Site Agent to join their growing team. Projects typically range from £500k to £5m and are based within an hours drive of the head office.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Supervise day to day operations on the residential construction site
Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, laborers and trades people
Ensure construction work aligns with plans, specifications and quality standards.
Implement and monitor work schedules to meet project deadlines
Coordinate materials deliveries and equipment needs
Report progress and delays to the project manager or site manager
Inspect work to ensure it meets building codes and quality standards.
Address and rectify any workmanship or material issues.
Ensure safety protocols and ensure the site complies with local and federal safety regulations.
Conduct or attend toolbox talks and site safety meetings
Identify and mitigate on site hazards.
Lead and motivate on site teams
Provide clear instructions to trades and labor.
Act as first point of contact between the workers and upper management
Maintain daily site logs, including labor hours, accidents and progress
Submit reports to the project manager
Record delivers, inspections and material usage.
Essential Qualifications/ experience required/ specific requirements for the role:
Previous experience working with residential projects- new build, refurbs and high end properties.
Relevant tickets/ qualifications
