CAD Technician Opportunity – Wellingborough (Fully office-based)
We’re working with a well-established and highly creative business in Wellingborough that’s looking for a talented CAD Technician to join their growing team. What you’ll be doing:
• Producing accurate 2D & 3D CAD drawings
• Translating creative concepts into technical, manufacturable designs
• Generating CNC machining files and component layouts
• Preparing templates aligned with print and installation specifications
• Ensuring all documentation meets industry standards and regulations
• Providing technical support and problem-solving across projects
• Managing drawing records, version control, and file organisation
What we’re looking for:
• Proficiency in Vectorworks or AutoCAD
• Experience in technical drawing (fabrication, construction, or manufacturing)
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills
• A degree in design is desirable, but qualified by experience is equally valued
