What you will do: Lead and manage a team of social workers, support workers, and student social workers to deliver high-quality, research-based casework and person-centred support. Provide expert consultation, guidance, and specialist advice to the multidisciplinary team on adult social care issues. Act as a mentor and facilitator, delivering training and supervision to develop team capabilities. Adapt services to meet the diverse needs of service users from a wide range of social and cultural backgrounds. Coordinate with Consultant Geriatricians, Physicians, Psychiatrists, and other key partners to form comprehensive support networks for service users. Conduct assessments, provide psychosocial support, and contribute to holistic care planning for adults with complex needs. Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and advocate for service users, carers, and families. Manage a dynamic caseload, prioritising workloads, and facilitating effective decision-making within the team.
