What you'll do Leading a team of people responsible for the effective and efficient auditing of claims for financial assistance. Designing, implementing and evaluating auditing procedures in accordance with relevant corporate governance and auditing best practice. Ensuring the team delivers key objectives, within optimal timeframes and to a high standard. Inputting into the drafting of legally and financially robust contracts, advising on commercial clauses and conditions. Identifying areas for and to take the lead on developing and improving systems and processes to deliver efficiencies and enhance corporate governance. Designing and delivering high quality and relevant training to the team. Engaging with key stakeholders, clients and internal staff, providing high quality advice and guidance in relation to the auditing of claims and the structuring and auditability of grant offers. Liaising with internal audit and the Northern Ireland Audit Office as required. Delivering high quality, accurate and timely financial information and reports to meet the needs of internal users. Inputting into the delivery of risk management and corporate governance objectives. Taking on key roles in other agency wide projects being undertaken as required.
