General Manager : Packaging
We are looking for an experienced professional to take day to day control of a London based SME packaging company. The role requires a driven, results oriented individual with a proven track record of driving operational excellence and improving profitability.
Responsibilities Oversee all activities including sales, commercial, business development, production processes, supply chain, health and safety and quality. Guide and direct each department to ensure organisational goals are met. Monitor results, compare actual performance to established standards and take appropriate actions to drive continuous improvement. Develop and implement strategies that challenge existing processes and foster continual improvement. Build a high performing team, ensuring flexibility, multitasking and strong attention to detail in a fast paced environment. Set realistic yet ambitious goals that keep the organisation competitive. Ensure profitability by managing output and achieving operational excellence. Qualifications Current or former General Manager role in the packaging sector with sales experience. Ambitious sales professional looking to progress to a General Manager position. Experience leading teams and driving results in a fast paced environment. Strong management and communication skills.
