Job overview

We are looking for organised and efficient persons to provide admin/clerical support to the Adult Neurodevelopmental Services within Derbyshire Healthcare NHS FT.

Based at St Andrews House wte per week

Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills; an eye for detail and accuracy; previous evidence of working in an administrator role (this would normally equate to 2 years); knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Duties will vary and may involve message taking; typing of letters and reports; Organising Meetings and diaries via Outlook, preparing agendas and taking notes at meetings etc. You will be handling information that will be sensitive.

Main duties of the job

A good working knowledge of EPR is desirable. Working under minimum supervision you will have the ability to prioritise and manage workloads in order to meet required standards and deadlines.

You would be supporting across the Adult Neurodevelopmental Service, and may be required to work across bases as need arises.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Responsibility for administering and supporting the SPoA process in the Community Support Team referral meeting.

Work alongside the SPoA team in processing incoming referrals and signposting to clinical pathways in consultation with the lead clinician.

Ensure timely input of referrals and timely completion of tasks relating to SPoA liaising with clinical operational leaders regarding issues arising regarding the process. Ensuring timely signposting and compliance with required waiting times.

Accurate recording/registering of referrals via EPR and recording of outcomes. Communicating and acknowledging requests, advice and outcomes to referrers and others regarding clinical decisions relating to referrals.

Manage Choose and Book e-referrals and liaise effectively with GP practices.

Produce documents, charts, tables etc., by use of Microsoft IT packages Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Access and disseminate information via email.

Taking of notes in a range of professional multi-disciplinary meetings as requested by nominated supervisor / manager.

Attainments/Qualifications

Essential criteria

13. RSA III/OCR Typewriting/Text Processing/Word Processing or equivalent qualification or demonstrable experience (which would normally equate to 3 years)
14. GCSE grade C or equivalent In English Language
15. nformation Technology Qualification (ITQ) at Level 2 or above OCR; NVQ; ECDL; CLAiT Plus; BTEC; etc.)
