 
        
        SEN Teaching Assistant – Full-Time | Whalley Range | November Start
Teaching Personnel is excited to partner with a highly regarded, inclusive primary school in Whalley Range, seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This full-time role (8:30 AM – 3:30 PM) starts in November and focuses on delivering personalised support to pupils with Special Educational Needs through one-to-one and small group interventions.

Key Responsibilities
 * Provide targeted SEN support to pupils individually and in small groups
 * Assist teachers with planning and delivering tailored learning activities
 * Support the implementation and regular review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
 * Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
 * Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to monitor pupil progress
 * Adapt support approaches to meet the changing needs of pupils
What We’re Looking For
 * GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
 * Experience working with children with SEN
 * A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting learners
 * Strong communication and teamwork skills
 * Commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare
 * Level 2 Safeguarding certification, or willingness to complete training
