Up to £72,000 + car allowance + benefits

We’re working with a major branded FMCG business to recruit a Business Account Manager to take full ownership of their Poundland account, valued at £12m P&L. This is a full‑time position, offering remote flexibility with just one day a month in the London head office.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high‑performing commercial team in a fast‑paced environment, managing one of the UK’s key discount retail customers. The role comes with full autonomy and cross‑functional exposure, allowing you to make a real impact on a strategically important account.


Key Responsibilities:

* Full P&L ownership of the Poundland account
* Lead JBPs, pricing, promotions, and forecasting
* Develop strong working relationships with Poundland’s commercial team
* Drive performance against volume, value, and profit targets
* Work cross‑functionally with category, supply chain, marketing, and finance teams
* Monitor account performance, track KPIs, and identify growth opportunities
* Effectively manage trade spend and ensure alignment with broader commercial strategy


What we’re looking for:

* Strong commercial background in FMCG with experience managing Discounter or Grocery accounts
* Proven P&L ownership and track record of delivering against growth targets
* Strategic thinker with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
* Highly organised, commercially curious, and confident in front of buyers
* Data‑driven and comfortable working with forecasts, performance metrics, and internal systems
