Position: Care Assistant
We are recruiting a Care Assistant to join the team at our Monument Place development in Salisbury, Wiltshire. Built in 2019, Monument Place is a Retirement Living Plus development that consists of 63 apartments, designed for residents over 70, with excellent on‑site facilities within beautiful grounds.
Hourly Rate & Hours
Hourly rate: £13.70 per hour, plus up to £1.30 for working evening and weekend hours.
Hours: 20 per week on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays between 8 am to 2 pm and every other weekend.
About the Role
As a Care Assistant you will provide the highest quality of individual care to our residents, enabling them to live a later life well. You will deliver housekeeping and domestic support across the general estate, including apartment cleans. Duties will be varied and include supporting and encouraging residents to take part in a wide range of activities that support their health and wellbeing. You will help them book appointments, arrange transport, escort them on visits and assist with shopping. Every day will be diverse, and you’ll have the opportunity to use your people skills to make a real difference.
About You
* Warm, friendly individual with ideally some experience of working in a care or support environment.
* Passion for making a difference to the wellbeing and happiness of older people, enjoying teamwork in a busy setting.
* Driven to deliver excellent customer service.
* Desire to work in the Health and Social Care sector, preferably holding a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 2 qualification, although consideration will be given to candidates with alternative qualifications and relevant experience.
