Aspire Living has an exciting opportunity available for a Support Manager to join our team based in Hereford. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £36,339.97 per annum.

Annual Leave entitlement: 33 days inclusive of bank holidays

Additional Information: Driver essential. Experience of managing day opportunities/community based teams.

Are you a proactive leader with the ability to drive change and support the growth and development of both individuals and teams? At Aspire Living, we believe that people with a learning disability can be leaders in society. We are looking for a skilled and values-driven Support Manager to lead and coach our teams in delivering outstanding, person-centred support. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the people we support live fulfilling lives underpinned by the principles of choice, independence, and control.

As the Support Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management and performance of several teams with a specific focus on community activities and day support, together with two cafés and a horticultural project. You will also take a lead role in transforming the way some day support is provided creating a more flexible, person centred, community focused support solution for people with more complex support needs, enabling people to take a full and active role within their communities. You will also have a role in supporting Aspire to develop support solutions to young people and families as we look to support more young people through transition along with developing bespoke respite solutions for families & carers. You will lead and develop teams to maintain an inclusive transparent culture that we are very proud of at Aspire Living, alongside robust regulatory, contractual and organisational compliance. The ability to lead teams and ultimately support more people is the key to success as is the ability to build trusted relationships with people supported, friends and family, local authorities, Thera Trust central teams and healthcare professionals to drive positive outcomes for the people we support.

Skills and Experience:

Level 4 Health & Social Care qualification or the willingness to work toward it.

Proven experience supporting people with learning disabilities.

Experience leading teams and managing service delivery in a regulated care setting.

Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, and care regulations.

Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.

Confidence in using digital systems (e.g. Excel, care planning software).

Flexibility to travel locally and work across multiple locations.

Desirable:

Experience in coaching, mentoring, and managing change.

A full UK driving licence with business insurance.
