We are seeking experienced CNC Machinists – Turners, Millers & Borers for a full‑time on‑site position based in Rotherham in our newly refurbished Defence building. Responsibilities include operating CNC machines, setting and maintaining precision machining equipment and each role is described below:
We are looking for experienced CNC Machinists to set and operate our Webster Bennet Twin Ram 144” (Siemens 840C control).
This role is to work solely on Defence related projects capable of swinging 3.7m diameter with a vertical stroke of 965mm and a further vertical column stroke of 1219mm.
The role will entail monitoring and repeating long cycle parts over a long‑term contract.
Applicants must be confident in their ability to use large manual inspection equipment for in‑process operator verification.
Applicants ideally will have recent experience in operating large VTL’s.
We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to programme, set and operate our Fanuc Horizontal Boring machine.
The role will entail monitoring and repeating long cycle parts over a long‑term contract.
The job holder will be required to fully understand CNC programmes and have the ability to set parts from dedicated set up and tooling sheets.
Applicants must have the ability to confidently modify and prove CNC programmes.
Experience of setting, operating and programming CNC machines with FANUC Control Systems would be advantageous – some training can be provided to experienced CNC machinists who closely fit the spec.
We are looking for an experienced CNC Gantry Miller with experience of Siemens/Fanuc machines.

We are looking for a machinist who can fully understand CMC programmes and have the ability to set parts from dedicated set up and tooling sheers.
Applicants must have the ability to confidently modify and prove CNC programmes.
Ideally we are looking for someone who has recently operated a large Gantry Milling machine, noting largest machine is 10m x 3m x 1.2 travel.
Day Shift core hours – Monday‑Thursday 07:00‑16:00, Friday 07:00‑12:00 (39 hours per week)
Competitive pay grade from £17.43ph – paid weekly
