Head Bakery Chef
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Bakery Chef to lead our bakery operations. This role requires a strong balance of creativity and operational excellence, ensuring the delivery of high-quality baked goods while continuously enhancing our bakery offerings.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all daily operations of the bakery
* Develop innovative and high-quality bread, viennoiserie, and bakery product menus aligned with the brand identity
* Ensure consistency in product quality, presentation, and recipes
* Manage cost control, inventory, and purchasing processes
* Maintain and enforce food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
* Train, mentor, and manage the bakery team to achieve high performance
* Plan production efficiently to meet operational demands
* Stay updated with global bakery trends and incorporate them into product development
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
* Drive guest satisfaction through exceptional product quality and attention to detail
Qualifications
* Minimum 5–7 years of experience in bakery production, preferably in a leadership role
* Strong portfolio showcasing product development and artisan baking skills
* Proven leadership and team management abilities
* Solid knowledge of bread-making techniques, fermentation processes, and bakery production
* Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-standard environment
* Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality
* Good command of English is preferred
